Structural divisions

The Mobile Testing Laboratory (MTL) is a structural division of ECOS Limited Liability Partnership and was established in 2010. In the same year, it obtained a state licence for sanitary, hygienic and laboratory testing.

In 2012, the MTL was accredited for the first time by the National Accreditation Centre (NAC RSE) within the accreditation system to test ambient air in urban and rural settlements, sanitary protection zones in residential areas, emissions from industrial enterprises into the atmosphere, and workplace air.

An accreditation certificate is issued for five years. Upon expiry, the MTL undergoes reaccreditation, confirming its compliance with established requirements and competence to conduct the relevant tests.

Testing and measurements are carried out in accordance with the rules and procedures of the State System of Technical Regulation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the accreditation system, in compliance with GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019.

Our laboratory is equipped with all the measuring instruments and testing equipment required to perform ambient-air measurements within its declared scope of accreditation.

Our laboratory specialists have extensive practical experience, the required permits and strong professional qualifications confirmed through internal certification and annual professional-development courses at educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification Body (VVB) is a structural division of ECOS Limited Liability Partnership and was established in 2018. In the same year, the VVB was accredited for the first time by the National Accreditation Centre (NAC RSE) for compliance with the requirements applicable to validation and verification bodies under ST RK ISO 14065.

An accreditation certificate is issued for five years. Upon expiry, the VVB undergoes reaccreditation, confirming its competence, impartiality and compliance with established requirements in greenhouse-gas validation and verification.

The competence of the VVB is supported by qualified personnel possessing the necessary knowledge, experience and professional skills in greenhouse-gas validation and verification. VVB specialists regularly improve their qualifications, complete relevant training and participate in activities intended to advance their professional competence.

The VVB has the regulatory, methodological and technical resources required to perform work in accordance with applicable standards and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its work follows the principles of competence, impartiality, confidentiality and objectivity.

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has operated since the company was founded in 1995. For more than three decades, its specialists have established themselves as reliable and competent professionals in environmental design and regulation, environmental audit and expert review, and comprehensive environmental support for enterprises.

ECOS LLP was one of the first specialised organisations in the Akmola Region to receive authorisation from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan to perform environmental regulation and environmental expert-review work.

In 2004, following a resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the company became one of the first in the country to obtain a state licence for environmental design, environmental regulation, environmental expert review and audit.
